The Australian Death Notifications Services (ADNS) has partnered with a number of organisations to simplify the process of notifying multiple organisations that someone has died. You can notify Bank of Melbourne and other organisations using the Australian Death Notifications Service here: http://deathnotification.gov.au
This link will take you to the ADNS website, where you will be asked to provide further information and select which organisations you would like to notify. The information is then passed on to the selected organisations who will then guide you through the next steps.
Please note that this is only applicable if a death certificate has been issued in NSW, QLD, VIC, NT, WA, TAS or SA.

We accept documents emailed directly to us – as long as they have been certified as true copies. If sending documents by post, please do not send the original copies as these may be destroyed. Certified copies are acceptable.

Our branches are here to support you through bereavement. You may have a local or preferred branch you deal with who can provide guidance about the deceased estates process and assist you with any general queries.
