How do pending refunds affect my balance?

While the refund is pending, the amount does not alter your account balance and your available funds will remain unchanged. The balance and available funds will only be updated once the refund is fully finalised and processed by the merchant.

For debit card refunds to accounts where the CHQ or SAV button was selected, the refund amount will be added to the account’s available funds and is also reflected in the total balance at the same time.
